What is it?

An easy to play interactive, web-based, treasure hunt which allows you to enter into the amazing Easter story. Go round on your own, with your family or in a team with your friends and complete the tasks that will appear at each mystery location. Answer questions, solve puzzles, take selfies, and then follow directions to the next secret location where you will hear the next bit of the Easter story. At each location you will be invited to ‘Enter into the story’ and think about what it must have been to have been there that very first Easter week.

How do you play?

On your phone, click on the link and input the code (which will appear at the top of this page from April 1st). This will take you to the treasure hunt app. The treasure hunt starts at St Andrew’s Church, Churchdown Road, Poolbrook (WR14 3JX). From there you will be sent to different locations in Malvern and on the hills, where each bit of the story will be told, finally ending up at British Camp Car Park. As the distances are quite large, you will need a car to transport you betwen the locations. If you have mobility issues and cannot do the stretches on the hills, you can ‘skip’ those location tasks and complete the rest of the Treasure Hunt from the car park at British Camp.

Who is it for?

Anyone whether you are old or young, in a family, with friends, or on your own. Everyone can play and it is completely FREE!

When can I play?

Any time you want to between 1st and 17th April 2023.

There are prizes for everyone completing it (and an extra creme egg for the first 100 children completing it with their families), and special prizes too for the team to score the most points and give the best answers to the ‘Enter into the Story’ questions.

We are grateful to PlayTours (www.playtours.app/) for supporting us with this Treasure Hunt and also to the amazing James Atkinson and the Diocese of Worcester for producing such amazing videos for us!

Happy Treasure Hunting!
