Looking for hope? Want to explore what life is all about?
Has this Coronavirus crisis caused you to ask the big questions of life?
Then we’d love to invite you to try Alpha…
Starts Thursday 30th April 7:45pm ONLINE
We’re starting a new online Alpha course during the continued Coronavirus lockdown and this begins on Thursday 30th April at 7:45pm and we’d love you to join us…
What is Alpha about?
Colin who is leading our online course, with Dave our Rector, explains a little more about how it will work.
If you would like to find out more about the course (or book onto it then please email Dave the Rector at email@example.com and we’ll let you have more details of how to join us for the course.
What is Alpha? Alpha is a series of interactive sessions exploring the meaning of life and the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. It’s fun, relaxed and totally no pressure – that’s why over 27 million people worldwide have already done it.
Who is it for? Got lots of meaningful questions? Never really understood the Christian faith or been to Church? Maybe you gave up on it a long time ago. Alpha was designed for you, or anyone who doesn’t go to church much, if at all. It’s also a great ‘basics course’ for those who want to understand their faith better.
What will the online course be like? Each session will begin with a general catch up online (using ZOOM video conferencing software – we can help you set that up easily if you don’t already have it). This is a chance to get to know others on the course a little and build friendships. This will be followed a short video talk and then we’ll have time to discuss the talk together. During the discussion everyone is welcome to contribute their opinions (as much or as little as they like – you can just listen if you wish) and ask questions – and no question is considered hostile or too simple! Alpha doesn’t care about your background, it welcomes all those big questions and it’s completely free!
“Alpha is a non-pressurised and fun course, and it shows us how Christianity can be relevant and empowering to our lives” Bear Grylls
