Life Groups – starting up again and new groups
We are pleased to say that Life Groups will be meeting in person when they restart next week. Some groups will be doing the SHAPE course, and some will be looking at materials linked to the current sermon series. You can find all the Resources for Life Groups on our website here.
We now have 15 different Life Groups altogether which meet at a variety of times (early morning, daytime and evening groups) on different days. Most meet in people’s homes and one or two at church. You can find up to date details and descriptions of each group on the church website here.
A new Tuesday daytime group (10:30am for coffee for 11am start at All Saints) is starting (led by Peter and Margaret Buchanan and Helen Wilkinson) This group is initially going to be using the ‘Rhythms of Grace’ materials. This course gives a very good introduction to our church ethos and spirituality and we would particularly recommend it to anyone new to the church. (You are welcome to join this group temporarily just to do this material if you wish).
We are also starting an online ZOOM Life group on Tuesday evenings, for those who are not able to meet up face-to-face due to the risk of catching Covid, led by Sue Albright and Mary Flynn. We would also welcome to this group anyone else who is interested in an online group because it is easier than getting out in person in an evening due to work or family commitments.
If you are not already in a group, this is a very good moment to join one. Please get in touch with Val Fane the Life Groups co-ordinator (email firstname.lastname@example.org Tel. 07905 217078 or 01684 566601), so she can talk through the options with you and approach the appropriate Life Group leader on your behalf, or speak to Dave the Rector.
