Despite not being able to gather in person this Easter, we still are going to be ‘journeying through’ the events of Holy Week together online and details of our different services and resources are below:

Palm Sunday: Sunday April 5th

We’ll be having our usual traditional and contemporary online services which you can access here

Dave Bruce, our Rector, will be leading the services and Peter Myres, our curate, will be speaking.

Journeying to the Cross – an opportunity to reflect and be creative throughout Holy Week (access the adult version here and the children’s version here ).

Each day of Holy Week, from Palm Sunday through to Easter Day, we’ll be posting a reflection of part of the Holy Week story, done by one of our preachers. These will be able to be accessed here and posted on the St Andrew’s & All Saints Facebook page from 9am each day.

We invite you to listen to the reflections and then invite those who wish to respond creatively. This might be painting a picture, writing a poem or a song, doing a video reflection yourself… use whatever medium you would like to, to make your own response to this part of the story.

Once you have done your creative reflection, we then invite you to either post it under the relevant post on our Facebook page, or send it into us via our special email: create@standrewsandallsaints.org and we will post them on Facebook for you. That way, we then can share and enjoy each other’s responses.

Maundy Thursday – Thursday 9th April  (Access it here)

We’ll be having an online journey through the events of Maundy Thursday, with a series of 4 monologue videos and reflections:

  • Sharing in the upper room (Last supper and foot washing)
  • Agony in Gethsemane (Praying in the garden)
  • The Arrest
  • Peter’s denials in the courtyard

The videos and reflections will be posted here from noon on Maundy Thursday. We encourage you to use this however it works for you – some of you might like to take each reflection at differ points throughout the day, others might want to sit down and do the whole journey in one go.  Click here for event details.

Good Friday – Friday April 10th (Access it here)

Last Hour at the Cross

An online Good Friday last hour at the cross service which will be available from noon on Good Friday.

Easter Sunday – Sunday 12th April
