Worship at the 10:45 Service

St Andrew’s is the largest of the churches in the team and is predominantly a gathered congregation, many choosing to worship at St Andrew’s because of its contemporary worship style (New Wine) and thriving children’s and youth ministry.

The 10:45am service is very contemporary in style with a worship band and everything projected onto a screen. We will often use video clips, interviews and creative ways of encountering God to help people worship and grow in their faith.

St Andrew’s has a large number of children and young people

The 10:45 community are feeling excited and encouraged by the significant growth that they have seen in the last 18 months. We have seen several people (including young people) become Christians and be baptized and confirmed, and there is a deepening commitment to becoming ‘whole life disciples.’ Average Sunday congregation is around 100-110 adults and 35-40 children and young people, across six different groups (0-18).

The 9am service is a more traditional service, without any children and young people’s work, which alternates between morning worship and Holy Communion. It is a small but growing community (average attendance around 25-30) who are open to change and are very much part of the process of considering how their congregation might be increasingly hospitable and reach out to the new people in this part of Malvern.

Holiday@Home Queen’s Birthday celebrations

St Andrew’s has a thriving Toddlers Group and the beautiful St Andrew’s Church Centre is a focal point for community events and a real outreach for us. Throughout the year there are many special events held at St Andrew’s including our annual Holiday Club and our Holiday@Home events for the older members of our communities.
