Remembrance Weekend

This year we mark the centenary of the end of World War 1. On Remembrance weekend we will be joining with others around the world in remembering the lives that were changed irrevocably, and those that were lost.

We will have a time of remembering at all of our services on Sunday 11th November (8:45am and 10:30am at All Saints, 9am and 10:45am at St Andrew’s).

In addition, St Andrew’s church will be open on Saturday 10th November (2:30-4:30pm) and Sunday 11th November (2:30pm – 4:30pm) for anyone to come and view our special remembrance displays and have space to reflect and remember and light a candle for those who sacrificed their lives. On the hour at 3pm and 4pm on both days there will be a short time of guided reflection.

Everyone welcome to come and join us at this special time of remembering. Click here for some pictures of the church decorations.
