We are keen to make our 10:30am service very accessible and welcoming for children of all ages and have a special toddler/creche space at the back of church so that parents with very young children can have a safe space and welcoming area for their children to be whilst they remain in the service. We don’t mind if they make a bit of noise. Our children are very special to us!

For older toddlers and primary children we have a group which meets during every 10:30am service down in the Crypt. Helen, our Children and Families Ministry Leader, often leads this group alongside other volunteers from the church. The children begin in the service for about 20 minutes before heading down to their groups where they have teaching, craft and games. If we are having communion, they  re-join their families for that. We are keen to encourage our children to participate in our services and have some children who sing up front, lead prayers or are involved in drama. About once a term, children from the CREW (Committee for RE and Worship at Malvern Wells C of E Primary School) come and help lead the service which is always a special occasion when we have café style services.
